Kent Air Ambulance

Kent Air Ambulance was commenced in 1989 for relieving injured and sick population of South East England and it is a registered charitable trust. HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) are giving services in the neighbours’ areas of England. The Kent Air Ambulance Service is very beneficial for the society.

This Air Ambulance response rapidly to 999 calls and can be delivered the highly trained medicinal crews of nurse, doctors and paramedics to the sight of a medicinal emergency and accident within a few minutes. Flying unhindered, direct and fast at the speed of 150 mph.

This ambulance reaches within about 15 minutes from the time flying in any portion of the Kent. The Kent Air Ambulance transports numbers of patients to the close main hospital. This ambulance is the best in the top 16 air ambulance services. NHS funding, getting no Government, Voluntary donations and National Lottery finances the Kent Air Ambulance.

The cost of this air ambulance is about £ 1.5 million. Each penny of its cost is kept for life saving in a year from companies, groups, individuals, clubs and businesses in the Kent. Operations

This ambulance gives an essential service to each individual traveling, living and working by the county daily. Essential Service – This ambulance provides as HEMS with two paramedics and a pilot and is commonly started through ambulance control in response to urgent requests from emergency services. When facilities are not available in this ambulance, all patients transfers to other regions such as East Grinstead or Queen Victoria Hospital.
